Often we are faced with unexpected stress such as waking up to snow covered roads when you have an eight hour drive home on the interstate. It is moments like this where we need to look for something that will relieve tension. Often relaxing music, a pleasant thought or just seeing something you don’t expect can generate a calm effect. This gives you an opportunity to shift your thoughts from facing an obstacle to experiencing an opportunity you might have otherwise missed.

    What do I do to reduce stress? I put on my running shoes and head down to my favorite trail along the Chattahoochee River, or go on a long bike ride in farm country north of Cartersville….of course. Thanks for sharing the nice picture of the frosted trees. Not something we see this far south very often.
